Pat testers of this kind are the latest additions to the electrical testing system. Results recorded from computerized testing equipment can be saved and loaded onto a PC. it is of great help when the number of appliances to be tested are many, as it offers rapid reading of multiple equipments. In-depth analysis can be carried out later. Most come equipped with large memories, so one can take readings of many appliances before having to assimilate on the computer. The most fundamental edge that these computerized systems provide is that they allow measurement of earth bond readings in form of true or absolute values. This makes the task cost-effective and less time consuming.

I started two totally different businesses. The first was the way we are all familiar with, traditionally setting up shop. And the other is starting an online marketing system out there in cyberspace.

I signed a 3 month contract with a local magazine for a quarter page ad, and talked to everyone I knew and did not know - telling them if they needed any work, to call me. I did have one break, I could conduct business from my house and not have to rent a building, as long as I did not have any heavy equipment parked in the yard.

Add in the gas and time, and I found myself busted, and not a single call from my magazine ad.

I thought, well, the holidays were here, then after the holidays, everyone needed to recover. Then Mardi Gras came, and then tax season was here.

Between those excuses and the economy like it is, I did not land any jobs that pushed my bank account forward.

With all that going on, I too, spent my nights searching the internet for that one Home Based Business that - "for just $19.99, I would be revealed the secret formula for making money."

I never got this "secret to becoming rich" formula that all these sites claim to have.

AND THEN, from a free one-time, complimentary issue of an opportunity magazine mailed to me, (or current resident), I found something that changed it all for me, and how I viewed the online business industry.

I found a marketing business that makes no claims to secrets. In fact, one of our leaders says, "there's no unicorns or rainbows here, folks."

I did not have any kind of support like this when I was starting my construction business.

I made a decision, took action, and joined this community of successful people. I was not naive when I started, though. It is taking my share of work and as my business becomes more and more efficient, I still will have to manage it. But with less effort. How much managing would I have to do in construction?

All businesses online have a common factor for making their systems work for you. Just as all construction companies need insurance, tools, ladders, trucks, permits, etc., all internet based companies have their level of requirements also. So do not let an internet site make you believe that they will do everything for you. They make it sound like it works, and it works on paper. But an interior door can swing against a wall with light switches behind it - on paper, but try to let that one go by an inspector.

They requires that you apply what is laid out. Just be teachable. Increase your effort by 1% a day and that ends up compounding on itself, and before you realize, your efforts have increased exponentially. And don't take my word for it because you know it yourself, the rewards speak for themselves.

I worked from 7am till whenever, when I was employed, and worked from 6am till whenever, plus weekends, when I started on my own. I treat my online business with the same persistence, but now it's on my terms. "You work like no other, so that later, you can live like no other." And I add, "Later is sooner. All you have to do, is do it."

Heavy Fire Blowing From The Second Floor Of A Gary Indiana House

Crews were dispatched to a reported fire in the 900 block of Idaho on 10-03-09, while en route all crews were rerouted to 11th and Idaho. On arrival heavy fire was reported coming from the second floor of a 24x40 1.5 story brick vacant house. Due to the fact the stairs had already burned away and fell into the basement crews had to attack the fire from the exterior and via ground ladders. The cause was under investigation and nobody was injured at the fire scene. Great job by the crews from first turn!

Swimming Pool Problems and Simple Corrective Measures

One of the worst things about owning a swimming pool is looking out your back window of your home and seeing that the pool water is a nasty shade of green. Now what? The family is ready to go swimming but the pool is a mess. The fix to your green pool may be as simple as some of the following suggestions.

oNo free available chlorine. Use your test kit to check the chlorine and pH levels. Remember to make sure that the test kit reagents are not out of date and or the test strips are still current. Add chemicals as needed.
oPoor water circulation. Check the filter is it dirty. If you have a cartridge filter is the cartridge worn out? If you have a DE filter is it time to backwash or completely tear down the filter, check the grids and re-charge the system with clean filter powder. If your system has a sand filter it might be time to empty the sand and recharge the filter.
oCheck the pump basket. If the basket full? Check to make sure that the basket is in good condition. A cracked or broken basket can allow items to bypass into the pump impeller, causing pump failure.
oLack of proper pool maintenance, which includes periodic super-chlorination and fresh water replacement. Don't forget about brushing your pool surface on a regular basis.
oCheck the level of Cyanuric Acid (Also known as CYA, Stabilizer and Conditioner) in the pool water. Levels over 80ppm can cause the water to "Cloud Up". The best way to lower Cyanuric Acid levels is to drain some of the pool water and re-fill with fresh water. Remember after doing this to check ALL your chemistry levels and readjust as needed. (If you are using Tri-Chlor tablets to sanitize your pool water, check your CYA levels frequently. Most "Tri-Chlor" tablets contain levels of CYA.)

Possibly the pool water is not green but just cloudy; here are some suggestions for this type of water problem.

oAlgae in the water - Check your pool chemistry and adjust as needed
oToo high a hardness level - Use your test kit to monitor. If the harness is too high some dilution might be needed.
oToo much backwashing of the filter. Backwashing causes pool water to be flushed out of the pool, remember after major backwashing and addition of fresh water to the pool to check your pool chemistry.
oPlugged or channeled filter. Clean your filter, replace media if necessary.
oImproper pH - Adjust your pH to the recommended levels.
oImproper total alkalinity levels - Adjust as needed.
oHigh total dissolved solids content in the water. If the total dissolved solids content is to high some dilution might be needed.

Owning a swimming pool does not need to be a time consuming, pain in the neck chore. With the correct equipment installed (pump, filter, automatic cleaner, chemical feeder, valves) and a good test kit, keeping your swimming pool water crystal clear and ready for swimming is easy and fun.

Relationships are meant to be bi-directional, sowing and reaping on both sides. As long as you think you can use relationships to go up the ladder and then forget them when you have "arrived" then you run the risk of waking up with no shield around you. The day you want to use those same relationships, your track record will let you down. Never forget those who helped you up the ladder. You will always need them. A thank you card, a letter worth framing, an email to say thank you, a post card with a nice picture on it, a surprise birthday present for your relationships and connections always pays. One of the passions I carry is that of creating cards. I remember in the year 2008, I created personalized Christmas cards on nice glossy paper for one of my businesses to give out to customers. The result of that heart of gratitude was that those very businesses started calling me to place orders for their cards. Just in an instant I had all this income which I had never planned to have and to date this remains an initiative which I am pursuing with passion. Sometimes we are grateful to other people and forget to be grateful to our very own parents who raised us up. Yes, granted, it is every parent's responsibility to raise their child to experience maximum exposure to greatness activation moments. Consider this; they have a choice to do that or just leave you to grope through life with no meaningful direction; finding about life on your own. Some parents set opportunities for their children until they can fly on their own. My encouragement is that you show your gratitude whilst they still walk this earth, when they can see and read the card, smell the flowers and wear the nice clothes. You can never repay your own parents for all the investment made into your life but occasional moments of showing gratitude will take you very far.

Affirmation Points - Say this to yourself - I am surrounded with great friends and connections who have lifted me up in business, ministry and personally. I am forever thankful for them. I keep all relationships that have assisted me on my way up. I maintain them even if it costs me. I am thankful for the plans and purposes in my life and relations that have been given to me.
